"Kail and Spade are life-long best friends who, after a freak pizza bagel accident that burned down their house, move to Mushroom Hill, NJ, and start a band with their new group of friends in the pursuit of partying and meeting girls. Along the way they’re faced with new jobs, bitchy ex-girlfriends, douchebag frat boys, evil record producers, and a friendship breaking series of events. Gurlz, Lunch, and Money - I LOVE being a Slacker!"

This production blog is maintained by the producers of Destroy All Slackers to document the production of the movie and give insight into what's going on behind the scenes. We'll be posting concept art, character designs, storyboards, soundbites, videos, and more through out production of the movie. Believe it or not, Destroy All Slackers is actually based on the stories of writer/director Kris Kail’s own life, which he’s also chronicled in blog form over at the Dude Gurlz website, and in his “Slacker’s” series of books.
Slacker’s Inferno is available from Amazon.com and contains several hilarious stories about Kail’s adventures in high school dealing with bullies, evil gym teachers, girls that didn’t want him, an older brother who introduced him to Star Wars, as well as post high-school adventures such as moving out of the house, having a yearly barbecue solely as a way to meet girls, and getting into fights with managers at GameStop who tried to sell him an open game as new.
Read Slacker’s Inferno and when Destroy All Slackers comes out try to find how many pieces from Kail’s own life went into the movie, you’d be surprised how much of DAS is based on reality.
